Overview: We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee a third-party risk management team. The ideal candidate will serve as the expert in identifying, assessing, and managing risks associated with third parties that handle personal and confidential data on behalf of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the subject-matter expert in evaluating and managing risks related to third-party engagements.
  • Review and assess procedures and controls to ensure compliance with relevant company policies and industry regulations.
  • Facilitate due diligence processes across various business units, ensuring active participation from stakeholders in risk assessment and acceptance.
  • Manage vendor relationships, addressing inquiries, and overseeing the vendor assessment process.
  • Conduct training sessions across business units to promote awareness and compliance with third-party risk management.
  • Enhance dashboard and reporting capabilities to highlight key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) for the TPRM program.
  • Support the program lead with ongoing strategic initiatives aimed at improving program maturity.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Program Management or a similar IT program management role, with additional experience in security, governance, risk, or compliance preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Experience collaborating with legal teams for contract language reviews.
  • Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools for conducting third-party risk assessments.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience; advanced degrees and additional Information Security certifications (CTPRP, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, etc.) are advantageous.
