About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Management Specialist to join our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the evolution of our GRC program, including defining and testing controls, performing internal and vendor risk assessments, managing issues, maintaining the risk register, and coordinating internal and external assessments and audits.

This role will require a strong partnership across our teams, including Legal, Engineering, IT, People, Workplace Experience, Trust & Safety, and Procurement, as well as third-party contractors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats and opportunities.
  • Perform risk assessments and provide recommendations for risk mitigation and control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure effective risk management and compliance.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to ensure employees understand risk management and compliance requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes related to risk management and compliance.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in risk management and compliance.
  • Experience with IT and Infosec controls and control frameworks (NIST, CSF, PCI DSS, ISO 27001/27002, etc.).
  • Experience performing risk assessments and supporting IT and Infosec audits.
  • Experience with GRC tools and IAM best practices.
  • Strong fundamental understanding of security best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining effective working relationships across all levels of an organization and with external constituents.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Risk or security certification(s).
  • Operational knowledge of IT Service Delivery processes, including Incident Management/Response, Change Management, Security Operations, etc.
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
  • Experience with cloud environments, such as GCP or AWS.
