Part-Time Instructor Pool: Ornamental Horticulture

Job Summary
The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking qualified part-time instructors to teach in the Ornamental Horticulture department. As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching courses, evaluating student performance, and contributing to the development of curriculum and programs.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in Ornamental Horticulture, including lectures, labs, and discussions
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
- Develop and implement curriculum and programs to meet the needs of students and the community
- Participate in departmental and college-wide activities, such as faculty meetings and professional development opportunities
- Meet with students, colleagues, and administrators to discuss course content, student progress, and departmental issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any subject and two years of experience in Ornamental Horticulture, or
- Associate degree in any subject and six years of experience in Ornamental Horticulture, or
- The equivalent
Working Conditions
Faculty positions may require long periods of standing and walking in a typical classroom setting. Specific conditions may vary by subjects taught.
