Ethnic Studies Instructor Pool Position

We are seeking qualified candidates to join our pool of part-time instructors for the Ethnic Studies department at Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College. As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching courses and contributing to the academic excellence of our institution.
Key Responsibilities- Teach courses in Ethnic Studies, including lectures, discussions, and other instructional activities.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the department's goals and objectives.
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
- Participate in departmental and college-wide activities, such as committee work and professional development.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Ethnic Studies or a related field.
- Teaching experience in higher education, preferably in a community college setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
- Experience teaching courses in Ethnic Studies, including courses on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Knowledge of community college policies and procedures.
- Ability to use educational technology, such as learning management systems and online course platforms.
