Job Summary
The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking highly qualified part-time faculty to teach accounting and business courses. As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching, evaluating student performance, and developing curriculum to support the advancement of the college's vision, mission, and values.
Responsibilities
- Teach accounting and business courses to students at the community college level
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
- Develop and implement curriculum to support student learning
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in accounting and business education
Qualifications
- Master's degree in accountancy or business administration with accounting concentration, or a related field
- OR Bachelor's degree in business with accounting emphasis or business administration with accounting emphasis or economics with an accounting emphasis, and a Master's degree in business, business administration, business education, taxation, or finance
- OR Bachelor's degree with a current Certified Public Accountant license (CPA)
- OR The equivalent
Working Conditions
Faculty positions may require long periods of standing and walking in a typical classroom setting. Specific conditions may vary by subjects taught.
