Job Summary
The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking highly qualified part-time faculty to join our team of educators. As a part-time instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and contributing to the district's mission of transforming lives through learning.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in the Social/Behavioral Sciences department, including political science, government, public administration, and international relations.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with district standards.
- Advise students on academic and career goals.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current in your field.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in political science, government, public administration, or international relations, or a related field.
- OR Bachelor's degree in political science, government, public administration, or international relations, and a Master's degree in a related field, such as economics, history, social science, sociology, or ethnic studies.
- OR The equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working Conditions
Faculty positions may require long periods of standing and walking in a typical classroom setting. Specific conditions may vary by subject taught.
