Job Summary
The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking highly qualified part-time faculty to join our team of educators. As a part-time instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and contributing to the district's mission of transforming lives through learning.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in sociology, anthropology, ethnic studies, social work, or psychology
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
- Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of our diverse student population
- Provide academic advising and support to students
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current in their field
Requirements
- Master's degree in sociology or a related field
- OR Bachelor's degree in sociology and Master's degree in anthropology, ethnic studies, social work, or psychology
- OR The equivalent
Working Conditions
Faculty positions may require long periods of standing and walking in a typical classroom setting. Specific conditions may vary by subjects taught.
