This position involves overseeing a collection of grant awards, each valued under $500,000. You will play a key role in ensuring the effective preparation, execution, monitoring, and reporting of various grants within your designated portfolio. Collaboration with team members is essential to guarantee the timely fulfillment of all grant obligations, while also managing budgets to ensure proper and timely expenditure of funds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish, implement, and maintain precise records for grant awards through system reports, program updates, and tracking of deliverable outcomes. Ensure effective communication regarding strategy, impact, and compliance with donor reporting standards.
  • Facilitate grant administration meetings to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned with compliance requirements. Integrate grant specifications into programs and oversee processes, coordinating efforts with key internal teams including Finance, Research, and Advocacy.
  • Work closely with implementation teams to ensure all grant deliverables are completed on schedule. Monitor financial allocations to guarantee appropriate and timely spending.
  • Address inquiries from donors and stakeholders with the utmost accuracy and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with leadership and development teams to nurture relationships and provide insights for future grant opportunities. Oversee funded programs, conduct research, and prepare necessary reports to support renewal efforts.

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient understanding of financial systems, including journal entries and expense tracking.
  • Experience in grant accounting and budget management.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent reporting and communication abilities.
  • Capability to ensure successful achievement of grant objectives and compliance with all agreements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in pre and post-award grant management.
