Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Research Specialist to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory activities, including sample preparations and testing instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyses using various instruments and equipment, including atomic absorption, conductivity, and wet chemistry.
  • Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Record and communicate test results to stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work in a cGMP environment, adhering to all regulatory and in-house requirements.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all Quality employees in the acid digestion area, working with strong acids like Nitric acid and Hydrochloric acid.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques, including sample preparations and testing instrumentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Knowledge of cGMP and GLP regulations, with the ability to apply them in a laboratory setting.
