The Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist, Category Manager to join our team. This role will possess deep category expertise, demonstrated project management efficiency, and leadership qualities. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to identify, define, and execute key projects that support defined business goals and objectives over a 12-36-month horizon.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing: Engage with management teams and stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives, balancing the RFx process and TCO evaluation of suppliers against business requirements and supplier preferences.
• Project Management: Simultaneously manage 4-7 complex projects, leading all deliverables, analytics, negotiations, and project management details. These projects will span from regional to global scope and support business functions goals and/or the company's strategic priorities.
• Category Management: Independently collaborate with key stakeholders to develop annual category management plans that incorporate stakeholder strategies, goals, challenges, constraints, and objectives with a 1 to 3-year time horizon.
• Supplier Management: Work collaboratively with suppliers and stakeholders to identify and execute continuous cost improvement programs and resolve complex strategic supplier performance issues.
• Performance Metrics: Contribute to measuring success, including savings, innovation related to process improvements, improved delivery, and simplified processes.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 8+ years as a sourcing and procurement professional.
• Travel Requirements: 10-15% domestically.

Salary

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience. Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs, including sales roles with variable compensation tied to quota achievement and the Zebra annual cash incentive program linking Company and individual performance together.
