Job Description

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to become a vital part of our team. This role is essential in supporting the management and execution of construction projects, ensuring that all activities are aligned with project goals and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between field operations and the corporate office, ensuring effective communication and reporting of daily activities.
  • Bridge communication gaps between the office and field teams, addressing any changes in plans or schedules promptly.
  • Manage the procurement of essential materials such as concrete, pumps, rebar, and other construction accessories.
  • Maintain open communication channels among the field crew, general contractors, and the main office to ensure project cohesion.
  • Foster a collaborative environment among all personnel and stakeholders on-site.
  • Document any changes in project scope, including change orders, to maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in various job site meetings to stay informed on project progress and challenges.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is thorough and current.
  • Keep precise records of project developments, modifications, and issues that arise.
  • Prepare and deliver regular updates on project status to relevant stakeholders.
  • Quickly identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may impact project timelines.

Qualifications:

  • 1-4 years of experience in construction project management, project engineering, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with construction software such as AutoCAD and BlueBeam is desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings is a plus.
  • Experience with concrete foundation projects is advantageous.

Education and Certifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is an asset.
  • OSHA certification is preferred.
