Job Overview

Innovien Solutions is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Control Specialist to enhance our Aftermarket Operations Team. This role is crucial in facilitating process plan enhancements by fulfilling all Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Process Certification obligations, leveraging these results to promote process advancements. Ideal candidates will possess a background in Industrial or Manufacturing settings and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Technical Manufacturing/Quality Engineer with a concentration on Process Control and/or Process Certification.
  • At least 3 years' experience in executing PPAPs (Production Part Approval Process).
  • Proficient in interpreting manufacturing schematics and 3D models.
  • Experience in establishing and managing essential manufacturing processes, including process management, statistical process control, data analysis, variance analysis, experimental design, process risk assessment, FMEA, control plans, and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and experience in continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events.
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office or similar software, along with CAD tools (NX, AutoCAD).

Preferred Expertise:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Experience in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aerospace components.
  • Familiarity with FAA Repair Station protocols.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and finalize all Production Part Approval Processes for Aftermarket Operations.
  • Assist in the revision of Work Instructions and Process Plans by completing the PPAP and Process Certification requirements.
  • Utilize insights from PPAP to enhance existing Process Plans.
  • Conduct reviews and finalize Process Certifications.
  • Identify Key Product Characteristics (KPCs) and develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFD).
