Requirements:

  • 5+ years' as a Technical Manufacturing/Quality Engineer
o Working Process Control certification/ Process Control in a manufacturing environment

  • 3+ years' experience completing PPAPs (Production Part Approval Process)
  • Experience with interpreting manufacturing drawings and 3D models
  • Experience setting up and running key manufacturing processes as an Engineer
o Process management, statistical process control, data analysis, analysis of variance, design of experiment, process risk analysis, FMEA, control plans, root cause analysis

  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, experience with Kaizen events or experience with a continuous improvement program (6s, etc.).
  • Proficiency on the computer with Microsoft Office or similar and CAD (NX, AutoCAD)
Nice to have:

  • Six-sigma green belt certification
  • Experience with maintenance, repair and overhaul of aerospace components
  • FAA Repair Station experience
Responsibilities
:

  • Review / Complete all Production Part Approval Processes for AutoAir Aftermarket Operations
  • Support Work Instruction and Process Plan overhauls by completing the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Process Certification requirements
  • Utilize outputs from PPAP to drive improvements to current Process Plans
  • Review and Complete Process Certifications
  • Review and complete all Production Part Approval Processes for AutoAir Aftermarket Operations
  • Identify Key Product Characteristics (KPCs) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD)
