Amalgamated Bank is seeking a dedicated Client Support Associate to take a leadership role in overseeing various processes related to pricing, proxy, billing, statements, and corporate actions. This position involves collaborating with Investor Relations, FIS, clients, and other stakeholders to address inquiries, escalate issues, and identify trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with client-facing teams to resolve issues, including billing discrepancies and access challenges.
  • Escalate operational challenges to FIS as needed, working closely with FIS counterparts for resolution.
  • Analyze client issues to identify trends in billing, statements, and other areas, reporting findings to FIS and partnering with stakeholders for solutions.
  • Determine access levels for clients and employees based on business requirements.
  • Ensure proper assignment of account and portfolio affiliations.
  • Review the input from Client & Outsourcing Support Admin to verify the accuracy of billing, statements, and fee setups.
  • Oversee new account setups, statement processing, pricing, proxy, corporate actions, and billing.
  • Ensure timely release of statements, accuracy in pricing, and proper processing of billing and GL accounting entries.
  • Manage all FIS-related communications impacting clients or the bank.
  • Collaborate with the Client Support Manager on internal and external communications with Investor Relations and Commercial Banking for Trust Clients.
  • Oversee tax reporting processes for clients, including communications with FIS and the IRS.
  • Provide backup support for the Client Support Manager and peers during planned and unplanned absences.
  • Supervise the DC37 Annuitant Program, reviewing processing components and communicating with client-facing contacts.
  • Participate in annual career development planning.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • General knowledge of the securities industry's policies and procedures.
  • Proven ability to work independently and make impactful decisions.
  • Preferred experience in a supervisory role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the global custody industry.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer software applications (MS Word, Excel, Access).

Compensation: The starting base salary for this role is between $60,000.00 and $70,000. Actual pay is influenced by various factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
