Position Overview:

Role Summary:
The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Psychiatry will leverage extensive field-based medical expertise and scientific knowledge to support medical strategies for REXULTI PTSD, contingent upon FDA approval for the PTSD indication.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Engage in and contribute to initiatives that enhance the effectiveness and productivity of the MSL team and Medical Affairs.
2. Serve as a reliable resource for key external stakeholders through scientific discussions and educational outreach, promoting the understanding of Lundbeck products.
3. Align MSL objectives with Medical Affairs product strategies, ensuring execution of goals.
4. Collect and communicate valuable medical insights to internal teams, aiding in the identification of unmet medical needs and data gaps.
5. Identify opportunities for grant submissions and investigator-initiated trials (IIT) that align with Lundbeck's medical objectives.
6. Assist in clinical trial efforts by recommending qualified investigators and research sites, as needed.
7. Respond to unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare professionals.
8. Actively participate in scientific meetings, engaging with key opinion leaders and representing Lundbeck Medical Leadership.
9. Stay informed on scientific advancements in the therapeutic area to identify research opportunities and support evidence generation.
10. Contribute to ongoing scientific training for the MSL team and internal partners.
11. Provide clinical presentations and medical information to managed markets and government accounts upon request.
12. Lead and participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives.
13. Complete all necessary training, documentation, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications:
- Accredited advanced degree in a health or life sciences field.
- Approximately 5+ years of experience in healthcare or related fields (industry, clinical practice, research, academic, or managed markets).
- At least 2 years in a customer-facing Medical Affairs role within a pharmaceutical organization.
- Proficient in interpreting complex scientific data and effectively communicating it to diverse external stakeholders.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- This role requires business use of a personal vehicle as part of Lundbeck's Vehicle Fleet Stipend Program.
- Advanced degrees such as DO, MD, PA, Pharm.D., PhD, NP, or APRN are preferred.
- Experience in various CNS fields, particularly Psychiatry, is advantageous.
- Background in clinical practice, research, or education is beneficial.

Travel Requirements:
- This position is field-based, requiring willingness and ability to travel domestically.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $170,000 - $190,000, with eligibility for a 20% bonus based on individual and company performance, as well as participation in the company's long-term incentive plan. Benefits include flexible paid time off (PTO), comprehensive health benefits, and a 401k company match.
