Job Summary

As a Store Manager at GameStop, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring that the store meets its sales and customer service goals. This is a full-time position that requires a strong leader who can motivate and train their team to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Motivate a Team: Directly influence the performance of everyone who interacts with guests, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Drive Sales and Revenue: Ensure that the store meets its sales and revenue goals by implementing effective sales strategies and providing ongoing training and coaching to the sales team.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Ensure best-in-class guest service for every GameStop guest by using elements of GameStop's buy, sell, trade, and reservation business model.
  • Manage Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in a retail environment, with a strong track record of motivating and developing teams.
  • Sales and Customer Service Skills: Excellent sales and customer service skills, with the ability to drive sales and revenue while providing exceptional guest service.
