Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for leading our team members, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate our team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including receiving, stocking, rotating, and facing of products.
  • Customer Service: Engage with guests in thoughtful conversations, make recommendations, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including cycle counts and merchandise displays.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the training and development of team members.
  • Policy and Procedure: Understand, communicate, and train team members on Pet Pros policies and procedures.
  • Employee Reviews: Assist in evaluating and writing employee reviews.
Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift up to 45 pounds, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb a ladder.
  • Availability: Flexible to work within our normal store operating hours, including weekends.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both written and verbally.
