Lighthouse Lab Services is proud to partner with a healthcare facility seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Laboratory Technician to enhance their dynamic team.

Position Summary:
This role involves conducting a variety of tests across multiple laboratory departments, including molecular diagnostics, clinical chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunology, while adhering to established quality assurance protocols.

Responsibilities include performing, assessing, and documenting quality control measures and maintenance checks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, which encompasses temperature monitoring, specimen disposal, and proper specimen storage practices.

Evaluate test outcomes and verify their accuracy against expected results as outlined in procedural guidelines.
Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of laboratory equipment as necessary.
Manage inventory and replenish reagents, calibrators, controls, and supplies as required. Additionally, prepare, assess, and validate new reagents or controls.

Qualifications:
National certification (ASCP, AMT, or AAB) is mandatory.

A degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or a related field (or completion of 24 credits in Chemistry/Biology fulfilling a biological science major) as mandated by CLIA.

Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts based on operational requirements.
Ability to function independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
Proficient in computer usage; experience with laboratory information systems is advantageous.
Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong communication and organizational capabilities.

Compensation/Benefits/Work Schedule:
Compensation ranges from $25-$38/hour for an MLS (dependent on experience); $19-$28/hour for MLT (dependent on experience).

Work Schedule:
Rotating shifts.
