Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Specimen Collection: Performs blood drawing/collection using a variety of techniques.
  • Data Entry and Sample Delivery: Enters data documents and delivers samples to the laboratory.
  • Customer Service and Workflow Management: Provides a high standard of customer service, maintains workflow, and resolves problems in a timely manner.
  • Quality, Safety, and Compliance: Demonstrates knowledge of quality, safety, and compliance procedures in the laboratory setting.
  • Area-Specific Support: Performs area-specific support and clinical activities as required.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Experience: 1 year relevant experience preferred
  • Licensure: Certification with a nationally recognized phlebotomy organization preferred
Physical Demands

The job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequent travel, bending/stooping, and climbing (ladder, steps). Repetitive motion, extension, and flexion at the wrist are also required. The individual must be proficient in communicative, auditory, and visual skills, with attention to detail and the ability to write legibly. The ability to lift/push/pull is also necessary.
