As a Field Project Manager within our Fire division, you will oversee intricate installation projects involving fire alarm systems, security measures, and communication networks across various sectors including commercial, educational, healthcare, industrial, and military.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing local project offices and defining project scopes.
  • Identifying risks and determining project methodologies.
  • Allocating resources effectively and facilitating project execution.
  • Managing schedules, costs, safety protocols, quality standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will present project updates and expected outcomes to management and clients, ensuring timely project closure within defined scopes.

Additionally, you will:

  • Oversee project progression from initiation to completion, including design, permits, material delivery, labor scheduling, and field installation.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that align with schedules and budgets.
  • Adhere to all relevant codes, standards, and unique project specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate or diploma in a relevant field (Fire & Life Safety, Electrical/Electronic); Certification in Fire Alarm Systems is preferred.
  • Approximately 5 years of installation experience in Fire, Electrical, or Security systems.
  • Expectation to obtain Project Management Professional certification within two years of employment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Project, with the ability to create spreadsheets and macros.
  • Willingness to travel locally as required.
