Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Field Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the interpretation of project drawings and specifications, performing quantity calculations, and preparing work plans. You will also conduct field surveying and layout support, compile labor timesheets, and participate in safety reviews and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the interpretation of project drawings and specifications
- Perform quantity calculations and prepare work plans
- Conduct field surveying and layout support
- Compile labor timesheets and participate in safety reviews and training
- Order and schedule material deliveries
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate work groups
- Supervise field operations and perform material takeoffs
- Assist in basic engineering calculations and prepare data for submittals
- Maintain project recordkeeping and enter data into job cost system
- Generate change orders and assist in purchase orders and subcontracts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction or engineering
- 4+ years of construction experience
- Knowledge of scheduling, material control, estimating, and subcontracts
- Experience in data center construction is a plus
- Willingness to travel and relocate
- Strong commitment to safety
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Organized with attention to detail
Working Conditions
