We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer / Project Manager to join our team at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and management of projects related to land development for commercial, institutional, and residential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including quality control, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to ensure project goals and objectives are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in site layout, grading, and drainage design, with a strong background in project management.
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) in Tennessee or ability to obtain.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in CAD/C3D design software and experience with drainage software, such as Hydraflow.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in reviewing construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and project team members.
