We welcome you to become a part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the initial design strategy for significant phases of land planning projects.
  • Assist senior engineers by undertaking fundamental engineering assignments and collaborating on designs within the team.
  • Create and produce conceptual plans and specifications for design projects related to site layout, grading and drainage systems, stormwater management, paving, and utility design.
  • Support the preparation of improvement plans, specifications, supporting documents, and permit applications for subdivisions, commercial developments, multi-family projects, and public works initiatives.
  • Review, interpret, and modify engineering drawings, reports, plans, and specifications for major projects.
  • Identify, plan, and conduct research in problem areas while addressing various challenges (e.g., conflicting design requirements, material unsuitability, complex coordination needs).
  • Engage in contract bidding and administration. Oversee and monitor the design and ongoing progress of projects, including coordination with municipal, state, and county officials and other external agencies.
  • Coordinate projects with clients, contractors, external consultants, and internal staff. Communicate and collaborate with project team members, client representatives, review agencies, and others as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering is required.
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in land/site planning and design of water services and large industrial projects. Summer internship experience is acceptable.
  • Familiarity with basic AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D techniques and principles is essential. Knowledge of Microstation, Geopak, Land Desktop, or other CADD software is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Must be registered as an Engineer In Training.
  • Must be eligible for professional licensure, P.E.
