  • Personnel Records Management: Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Pre-Hire Processing: Process all pre-hire applicants' information for background screening, ensuring timely and efficient completion of the hiring process.
  • New Hire Onboarding: Process new hires, follow up on outstanding paperwork, and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • HR Data Management: Enter personnel data into Coins OA/HR, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Personnel Changes and Requests: Handle all personnel changes and requests in a timely and efficient manner, processing them in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Union Monthly Contribution Reporting: Prepare and submit union monthly contribution reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Payroll Reporting: Run payroll reports for weekly payroll needs, as well as for audits and special projects.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of insurance, compliance courses, and contribution letters.
  • Confidentiality: Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines, ensuring the protection of sensitive personnel information.
  • Special Projects: Participate in HR projects and other special tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Work Experience: Three years of minimum work experience in a human resources or payroll department.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED is required, associate degree is preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Must have computer literacy in MS Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a multi-site organization.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Detail-oriented, logical, and able to problem-solve.
  • Teamwork: Ability to coordinate with a team and work well with others.
