As a Logistics Operations Leader, you will play a vital role in our high-efficiency Vehicle Processing Center (VPC), supporting the General Manager and ensuring operational excellence.


Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage daily operations at Wallenius Wilhelmsen's Vehicle Processing Center.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to foster a safe and cost-effective work environment that meets performance benchmarks.


Champion a culture of safety for all personnel and visitors by adhering to WWS Health & Safety protocols.


Conduct thorough investigations of any accidents, incidents, or near misses to ensure preventive measures are established.

Document and share lessons learned, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to devise strategic plans and procedures aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

Coordinate with team leads to organize daily tasks for the workforce.

Encourage a positive workplace culture and promote employee engagement.

Implement corrective actions as necessary.

Perform additional related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or logistics.

Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles.

Strong understanding of revenue drivers and efficiency metrics to achieve favorable financial outcomes.

Experience in leading continuous improvement projects.

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE
1-2 years of experience in automotive or warehousing sectors.

A passion for developing, motivating, and coaching employees for their professional growth and the company's future success.

Ability to inspire change through effective communication at all levels.
