The Logistics Operations Supervisor is tasked with managing daily activities on the production floor, ensuring that all operations are executed efficiently and effectively during their designated shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:
Oversee daily production activities, ensuring seamless and efficient workflows.

Assist RM and FG Managers by coordinating raw material and finished goods processes throughout the shift.

Monitor material and product flow, guaranteeing that production schedules are met without disruption.

Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Excel for tracking inventory and production progress.

Ensure all equipment operates correctly, promptly reporting any issues to maintenance.

Adapt operational plans to accommodate shifts in production requirements or order volumes.

Team Leadership and Development:


Lead and manage a team of production and warehouse personnel during the shift, ensuring high productivity and accuracy.

Provide training and coaching to team members, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.

Evaluate team performance, offering feedback and implementing corrective measures to sustain efficiency.

Promote a collaborative and positive work environment, fostering teamwork and open communication among staff.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:


Ensure that all raw materials and finished products meet established quality standards prior to production or shipment.

Enforce safety regulations and policies, ensuring all team members adhere to proper procedures for a safe workplace.

Conduct regular inspections of the production area to verify compliance with health regulations and company policies.

Maintain accurate records of safety checks, quality assessments, and any incidents occurring during the shift.

Communication and Coordination:
Serve as the primary liaison between the production floor and RM/FG Managers during the shift.

Report shift performance, issues, and deviations from the production plan to RM/FG Managers and relevant stakeholders.

Coordinate with other shift leaders to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of operations.

Provide updates on inventory levels, production status, and potential bottlenecks affecting the overall production schedule.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain precise records of shift activities, including production output, material usage, and encountered issues.

Compile and present shift reports to RM/FG Managers, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas for enhancement.

Assist in developing and implementing data quality checks to ensure the accuracy of shift-related information.

Create and maintain dashboards to monitor shift performance metrics, providing insights for future operational optimization.

Requirements

High school diploma with significant experience or a higher degree required.

5+ years of experience in a production or warehouse setting, focusing on leadership or supervisory roles.

Relevant industry knowledge, particularly in material handling, production, and inventory management.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PPT, Excel, Word) and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and make swift decisions to ensure operational continuity.

Korean bilingual preferred.

Travel Requirements:
Up to 10% travel may be required.

Working Conditions

This position is primarily based in a 24/7 manufacturing facility and may involve shift changes.

This role may require working outside regular business hours to meet operational needs.
