Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the coordination of yard and shuttle drivers, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods
  • Coordinate dock moves, including the inspection of trailers, containers, and tankers
  • Manage trailer inventory for both Landair and outside carriers
  • Perform daily yard checks, annotating trailer numbers and locations
  • Investigate situations where there are passengers present in inbound vehicles
  • Secure gates when not in use
  • Manage all outbound load paperwork
  • Perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of Covenant Logistics Group

Requirements:

  • 4 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management
  • Ability to manage people effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
  • AS400 and Red Prairie experience a plus
