Job Title: API Sales Executive

Our client, a leading provider of innovative solutions in the African stablecoins space, is seeking an experienced API Sales Executive to join their team. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and delivering presentations on products and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research to identify potential sales opportunities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on products and services
  • Create regular reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
  • Participate in exhibitions or conferences on behalf of the company
  • Negotiate and close deals, handle complaints or objections
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role
  • Relevant tertiary qualification required
  • Experience selling APIs
  • Experience in SaaS sales, preferably enterprise software
  • Experience within FinTech/Stablecoin industry preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Fast learner and passion for sales
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
