Job Overview


Avery Dennison is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Analyst for our Reflective and Digital Ink Solutions (DIS) divisions. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at supporting operations, customer service, sales, marketing, and product development through the provision of compliance-related information, guidance, and strategies tailored to meet customer demands and regulatory standards.

This position is pivotal in enhancing customer-facing communications and marketing initiatives concerning compliance, while also overseeing the governance of compliance-related business processes and data management systems.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams on strategic projects within Reflective and DIS to utilize compliance as a means to distinguish products and enhance competitive advantage.

2. Monitor developments in product compliance and safety, updating the business to uncover new opportunities.
3. Address customer inquiries regarding the compliance of Reflective and DIS products with various regulatory or customer-specific safety and environmental standards.4. Liaise with raw material or component suppliers to gather up-to-date compliance data relevant to Reflective and DIS products.
5. Work alongside suppliers and team members to create and maintain a comprehensive database of compliance and safety information for Reflective and DIS products.6. Coordinate necessary product safety testing to meet regulatory obligations or customer requirements.
7. Develop or revise material safety data sheets for both new and existing products as necessary.
8. Seek support from corporate product compliance for complex compliance inquiries or challenges.


9. Engage in new product development processes, providing compliance mentorship to product development teams while remaining informed of activities from project initiation to product launch.

10. Maintain and refresh the new product/R&D dashboard.
11. Implement corporate product compliance guidelines for new product regulatory requirements in Reflective and DIS.
12. Participate in teams and initiatives that align with company objectives and goals.
13. Conduct training sessions for internal and external stakeholders on compliance-related topics as required.


14. Offer guidance and technical support to cross-functional teams such as R&D, product development, marketing, customer service, and procurement on compliance matters and initiatives.

15. Exercise utmost discretion when managing all confidential information.
16. Develop and enhance processes to boost overall efficiency and improve product compliance in support of the business.
17. Perform additional duties as assigned to assist the team.
