Position Overview:

The Housing Compliance Specialist will serve as a vital resource for property management teams, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and supporting site personnel in various capacities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the compliance processes related to housing programs, including the timely execution of annual certifications and necessary agency documentation.
  • Conduct thorough interviews with applicants and residents, collecting all required eligibility documentation and ensuring accurate submission to third-party auditors.
  • Maintain effective communication with on-site staff, Portfolio Managers, and Compliance teams to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Keep supervisors updated on project progress, potential challenges, and innovative solutions.
  • Update internal tracking systems promptly to reflect current status of certifications.
  • Support the initial qualification processes for new construction projects, re-syndications, and acquisitions as directed.
  • Be prepared for occasional travel as required by the role.
  • Adhere to community regulations and FPI Management's operational procedures consistently.
  • Uphold Fair Housing Laws and company policies diligently.
  • Exhibit professionalism in all interactions with employees, residents, and external stakeholders.
  • Complete all required training programs relevant to the position.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Compensation:
$18 - $21 per hour

This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of housing compliance and ensuring a high standard of service within the community.
