Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for managing the functionality and efficiency of our computer systems, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Administration: Manage and maintain our computer systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Help Desk Support: Provide technical assistance and support to our users, resolving issues and answering questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues, using diagnostic tools and techniques to isolate and fix problems.
  • Network Management: Monitor and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect our systems and data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in systems administration, help desk support, or related field.
  • Certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE or CCNA-Security certification.
