Position Summary:
The IT Administrator will deliver technical and service-oriented support across various technology domains, including system administration, network management, operating system support, systems design, data security, and user services. The responsibilities will adapt based on organizational needs and individual competencies, ranging from basic assistance to leading complex projects and providing high-level technical guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, maintain, and support hardware, software, network, and instructional technology.
- Offer end-user support on IT-related issues through consultation, problem-solving, training, and documentation.
- Engage in projects and collaborative activities related to IT initiatives.
- Provide on-call support for designated systems or services as needed.
- Analyze and normalize relevant information from business processes to assess data credibility and relevance.
- Develop and oversee database policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Monitor progress and evaluate outcomes, recommending procedural changes as necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to configure hardware or software for installations, upgrades, and optimization.
- Work with application developers to understand application functionality and test outcomes.
- Collaborate with implementation teams to customize and deploy new solutions tailored to specific needs.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Three years of relevant experience in computer maintenance, graphic and web design, programming, or a related field.
- A proactive, innovative, service-oriented individual with a proven track record of achieving objectives.
- Understanding of the Foundation's mission, vision, and applicable principles and standards.
- Ability to conduct both short and long-term planning.
- Strong analytical skills to identify problems and develop solutions.
- Proficient in gathering and interpreting data, preparing, and presenting reports.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Analytical thinker with problem-solving capabilities and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
