Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team at Qs Nurses. As a Cath Lab Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our cardiac catheterization lab.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and assist with medical procedures in the Cath Lab.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate daily administrative and nursing duties, including medication administration, medical treatments, and patient documentation.
  • Oversee patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Mentor and train new staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful onboarding.
  • Monitor medical charts and provide compassionate care and assistance to patients and families.
  • Administer IV medications and fluids as ordered by physicians.
  • Liaise with doctors and administrators to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, guidelines, and protocols.
  • Record and maintain accurate reports and records, including patient data and medical information.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Current RN license in the state where you will be working.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare environment, unless participating in our Preceptor Program.
  • Excellent leadership, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Compassionate with sound judgment, problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and reasoning.
  • Proficient in technology and medical software systems.
  • Ability to handle stress and work confirmed shifts.
  • Ability to follow the nurse practice act specific to the state where you will be working.
