Key Responsibilities- Facilitate Daily Activities: Assist participants in their daily routines, including meal times, medication administration, and recreational activities.
- Transportation and Escort: Safely transport participants to and from appointments, community meetings, and other off-site activities.
- Observation and Intervention: Monitor participants' behavior and intervene as needed to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document participant interactions, incidents, and other relevant information in our electronic medical record system.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans and goals.
- Client Orientation: Welcome new participants to our facility, provide orientation to our rules and policies, and ensure a smooth transition into our program.
- Emergency Procedures: Respond to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fires, and other crises, in accordance with our established protocols.
- Medication Administration: Assist with the administration of medications, as directed by our medical staff, and maintain accurate records of medication administration.
- Facility Maintenance: Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment, including trash removal, dish washing, and other tasks as assigned.
- Experience: 1 year of experience working in a 12-step program or a similar setting.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team environment, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Zia Recovery Center is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. As a Rehabilitation Technician, you will be exposed to a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions, including varying temperatures, humidity, and noise levels. You will also be required to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
