In this position, you will be instrumental in guiding clients on their cloud journey by migrating, optimizing, and modernizing workloads to AWS, thereby enhancing agility while minimizing costs and complexities.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with migration service teams, business development units, AWS field teams, partners, AWS professional services, and other stakeholders to devise, implement, and expand Go-To-Market strategies focused on infrastructure migration.
- Concentrate on technologies such as VMware workloads transitioning to the cloud, Windows, Linux, block storage, and object storage associated with these workloads.
About Our Team:
The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is a vital component of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), aimed at driving revenue, adoption, and growth across diverse customer segments, from small and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level clients.
We begin by addressing our clients' most pressing challenges to formulate and execute go-to-market strategies that transform AWS concepts into multi-billion-dollar initiatives.
The WWSO teams comprise business development, specialist, and technical solutions architecture professionals.
As a member of WWSO, you will provide expertise throughout the entire lifecycle of an AWS customer initiative, from conceptualizing new services to accelerating the adoption of existing offerings. Our dedication to innovation, exceptional customer outcomes, and collaboration within AWS distinguishes us in the industry.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in building and leading large teams within intricate organizational frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging and communicating effectively with multiple stakeholders, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams.
- Strategic insight related to business, enterprise software products, and advanced technology platforms and architectures.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of experience in managing and nurturing high-performance teams.
