In this pivotal role, you will significantly influence customers' cloud journeys by facilitating the migration, optimization, and modernization of workloads to AWS, thereby enhancing agility while minimizing costs and complexities.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with migration service teams, business development units, AWS field representatives, partners, AWS professional services, and other key stakeholders to create, execute, and broaden Go-To-Market strategies centered on infrastructure migration.
  • Concentrate on technologies including VMware workloads transitioning to the cloud, Windows, Linux, block storage, and object storage pertinent to these workloads.

The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) plays a crucial role within AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), aiming to drive revenue, adoption, and growth across diverse customer segments, from small and mid-sized businesses to large enterprises.

We begin by tackling our customers' most pressing challenges to formulate and implement go-to-market strategies that convert AWS concepts into substantial revenue opportunities.

The WWSO teams comprise professionals in business development, specialization, and technical solutions architecture.


As a member of WWSO, you will provide expertise throughout the entire lifecycle of an AWS customer initiative, from the inception of new services to the acceleration of existing business adoption. Our dedication to innovation, outstanding customer results, and collaboration within AWS distinguishes us in the market.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in developing and leading large teams within intricate organizational frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate effectively with various stakeholders, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic insight related to business, enterprise software products, and advanced technology platforms and architectures.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in managing and cultivating high-performance teams.
