About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Data Scientist to join our team at DriveTime. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing analytical solutions to support our business units and verticals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business partners to define objectives and build appropriate analytical solutions.
  • Partner with business customers to manage data for modeling and analytics.
  • Work with Machine Learning Engineers to develop and implement models.
  • Present results of analysis to leaders and colleagues.
  • Lead and mentor junior data scientists to develop and implement analytical solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Math, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
  • Credit/lending risk modeling experience required.
  • 3+ Years of Experience Working in a Data Scientist or Statistician Role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Python.
  • Expertise leveraging MLOps methodology in Azure, AWS, or GCP. Cloud certifications a plus.
  • Experience coaching junior data scientists and leading complete data science projects end-to-end.
  • Expertise in RDBMS and Big Data environments such as Snowflake.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying statistical learning/machine learning techniques with significant business outcomes.
  • Expertise with git/version control and build/release pipelines.
