The Senior Analyst will serve as the primary overseer of search and Commerce media for designated brands. This role entails the continuous monitoring and management of search/Commerce campaign creation, execution, and innovation.
The Senior Analyst is expected to cultivate and sustain a robust understanding of client operations and leverage their media expertise to fulfill client objectives effectively.
Collaboration with the manager is essential for the formulation and communication of all search/Commerce strategies.Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop paid search/Commerce strategies across various search engines, including AMS and other relevant platforms.
2. Track and enhance performance to align with business goals.
3. Conduct keyword research essential for establishing new campaigns.
4. Gather necessary data for strategic planning.
5. Organize keywords into ad groups and create pertinent ad copy and extensions.
6. Present recommendations and incorporate client feedback into keyword and copy proposals.
7. Upon campaign approval, oversee the creation of flowcharts and input buys into Prisma.
8. Generate required documentation for purchase authorization and ensure vendor counter-signature is obtained.
9. Manage the trafficking of the approved plan into search engines.
10. Ensure quality assurance of all campaign elements prior to launch.
11. Monitor and maintain campaign budgets, pacing, and bid adjustments.
12. Advocate for campaign modifications based on performance insights.
13. Actively manage performance and analyze the competitive landscape.
14. Develop and implement optimization strategies and testing plans (e.g., search query reports, negative keyword management, keyword overlap analysis).
15. Analyze data to inform campaign reporting and generate strategic insights with actionable recommendations.
16. Create clear, concise, and cohesive quantitative analyses, incorporating strong data visualization.
17. Participate actively in client status and reporting meetings, including presenting reports.
18. Oversee detailed management of the monthly billing cycle, including invoice tracking, buy actualization in Prisma, and draft billing for manager approval.
19. Resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with client strategy and billing reconciliation teams.
20. Acquire proficiency in all relevant tools for reporting, analytics, and competitive analysis.
21. Master core metric calculations and relationships (e.g., CPC, CPA, CTR, SOV, weighted averages).
22. Serve as a subject matter expert for Analysts, providing training and support for ad hoc inquiries.
23. Foster strong working relationships with client teams and partner agencies by facilitating seamless communication.
24. Establish professional rapport with sales representatives and media vendors.
25. Collaborate closely with the manager to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
26. Ensure timely delivery of all assignments.
27. Successfully complete training programs and obtain necessary certifications.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in paid media with a focus on Commerce.
- Experience in buying and planning across multiple platforms, including Google, Bing, AMS, Criteo, etc.
- Familiarity with Amazon, Walmart, and Target platforms.
- Preferred experience with AMS platform, AAP platform, Criteo, and/or Google Ads.
- Knowledge of Amazon Retail Analytics (ARA) and third-party digital shelf reporting tools (e.g., Clavis or EDGE) is advantageous.
- Experience in a client-facing role.
- Proven ability to utilize paid media to enhance earned media campaigns and achieve business objectives.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
