Position: Human Resources Generalist

Location: Waterford Township Plant

Key Responsibilities:
* Execute responsibilities across various HR functions, including onboarding, payroll, employee engagement, and development.
* Foster a culture of engagement through positive interactions with the workforce.
* Communicate and enforce company policies and practices effectively.
* Support a diverse workforce, assisting with translation and communication needs.
* Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to manage headcount and meet business requirements.
* Partner with Operations Leaders to create effective onboarding and training programs for new hires.
* Lead initiatives focused on employee retention, rewards, and recognition.
* Provide guidance to management and employees regarding company policies and employment laws.
* Oversee data management processes related to new hires, compensation, benefits, and leave management.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* Preferred certifications: SHRM or HRCI.
* Minimum of 2 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting is preferred.
* Strong communication skills to interact with all levels of staff and management.
* Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, and FMLA.
* Proven ability to drive results and align HR practices with business objectives.
* Familiarity with HRIS systems, preferably ADP.
* Strong project management and customer service skills.
* Ability to prioritize effectively and lead with empathy in a fast-paced environment.
