Contract Temporary Position
Overview
Collaborate effectively with the Human Resources and Union Relations Team, Operations Leaders, and the represented hourly workforce to fulfill organizational goals.
Assist with hourly staffing needs (both internal and external), onboarding processes, conflict resolution, attendance tracking, grievance management, and various HR functions to facilitate daily operations.
This role does not encompass recruiting or staffing duties.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in Human Resources
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution; or relevant internship experience in Human Resources
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in an office environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with unionized settings
- Preferred experience with Kronos (timekeeping) and Workday (HRIS)
- Strong time management and organizational abilities, with a focus on effective prioritization
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
