Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer a variety of HR plans and procedures for all personnel and policies.
  • Contribute to the establishment of departmental goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Oversee the performance evaluation process and make necessary adjustments.
  • Assist in maintaining the employee handbook, policies, and procedures documentation.
  • Manage benefits administration, including claims resolution, reporting changes, approving invoices, and communicating benefit details to staff.
  • Support employee relations efforts, including counseling, outplacement services, coaching, and exit interviews.
  • Assess job roles; create job descriptions that include FLSA classification, exempt or non-exempt status, and salary grade determination.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay informed about current and future staffing needs.
  • Conduct searches for qualified candidates based on relevant job criteria using various recruitment methods.
  • Screen and refer applicants to hiring managers, providing hiring recommendations when appropriate.
  • Conduct reference checks for all candidates.
  • Oversee the pre-employment process, including background checks and drug testing.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new employees to promote a positive organizational culture.
  • Ensure the accuracy of personnel records and employee information in the HRIS.
  • Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing for multiple entities.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding insurance and retirement savings plans.
  • Verify employee enrollments with HR vendors and plan carriers.
  • Respond to employment verification requests.
  • Undertake other special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: A Bachelor's degree with three to five years of HR experience, or a Master's degree in Human Resource Management with two years of HR experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
Compensation is competitive, with a salary range of $56,000 to $75,000 based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
