Project Overview

At QCM, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for the execution of project plans, coordination of project activities, and provision of support to project managers.

Responsibilities

* Execute project management plans for assigned projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget
* Coordinate and manage project activities from inception to completion, including takeoffs, cost estimating, and daily operational tasks
* Facilitate communication between office and field staff, ensuring seamless project execution
* Track and report project status updates to project managers, identifying and resolving issues as needed
* Assist in problem-solving and suggest improvements to project processes
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including digital databases
* Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
* Collaborate with project managers to create and manage project budgets
* Coordinate daily administrative tasks, including scheduling and confirming deliveries
* Develop and maintain project timelines and calendars
* Schedule meetings, phone calls, and site visits as needed
* Consult with technicians, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather information and resolve issues
* Foster positive relationships with vendors and clients

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred
