Role Overview
We are in search of a proficient accounting expert to become a vital part of our Finance Team. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Accounting Expert will oversee daily financial operations, month-end closing procedures, reporting, and enhancements to processes. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams on accounting issues and fostering a culture of teamwork and creativity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Oversee cash reconciliation and maintain asset schedules.
  • Review and authorize employee expense claims.
  • Collaborate on purchase order accruals and vendor management.
  • Support audits, tax compliance, and special projects.
  • Implement internal controls and enhance processes.
  • Develop accounting policies and documentation as necessary.
Qualifications/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting with 3-5 years of experience in corporate or public accounting.
  • Experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector is preferred.
  • Proficient in general ledger operations and month-end procedures.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite.
  • Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
