Position Overview:
As a pivotal member of the Central Finance and Administration team, the Senior Manager of Financial Operations will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring strategic financial management across various shared service units.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Financial Oversight:**
- Direct all financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year financial strategies for shared service units.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and communicate quarterly forecasts and monthly management reports to support informed decision-making.

2. **Collaborative Engagement:**
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of each unit's business drivers, acting as a financial partner for initiatives and inquiries.
- Interface with senior leadership and unit leads to foster collaboration and alignment on financial strategies.

3. **Team Management:**
- Supervise a team of financial analysts, ensuring high performance and engagement through effective coaching and development.
- Manage workflow and performance, promoting an inclusive and innovative work environment.

4. **Policy Development:**
- Serve as the liaison for financial policies and procedures, providing training and guidance to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with university policies, audit requirements, and legal regulations.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles.
- Proficiency in financial systems, data analysis, and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
