Role Overview: The Service Operations Supervisor is responsible for welcoming customers and gathering essential information to address their vehicle repair needs. This role involves liaising with technicians and ensuring customer satisfaction with the services rendered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and delegate daily tasks for service consultants.
  • Assess performance and provide guidance to service consultants facing behavioral or performance challenges.
  • Train, mentor, and oversee service consultants to enhance their skills.
  • Assist in the service reception during busy periods by promptly greeting customers and collecting necessary vehicle data.
  • Ensure the availability of all supplies required for the efficient operation of the service drive.
  • Communicate with team leaders to track the progress of service jobs.
  • Review the daily open repair order report and address any outstanding repair orders from the previous week.
  • Collaborate with all dealership staff to guarantee high-quality service for customers.
  • Conduct quality checks on vehicles before returning them to customers.
  • Follow up with customers to confirm their satisfaction with the service provided.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including those related to hazardous waste disposal and safety protocols.
  • Adhere to company safety guidelines to minimize exposure to harmful substances.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and information.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an automotive repair environment.
  • Proficient in collaborating with dealership personnel.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Capability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service abilities.
  • One year of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Ability to operate an automobile.
