ABM is seeking a proactive Night Shift Supervisor. The ideal candidate will possess a background in service-oriented industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the scheduling of all personnel, set work standards, conduct site assessments, audits, manage inventory/equipment usage, control budgets, evaluate employee performance, and provide troubleshooting and problem-solving support.
  • Ensure that all managed services are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Monitor expenses within the designated area of responsibility.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of staff to maintain workforce levels.
  • Facilitate employee training; uphold a safe, secure, and compliant work environment; foster opportunities for personal development.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with clients and facility personnel to ensure their needs are met as per contractual obligations.
  • Maintain a clean, appealing, and organized environment.
  • Promote and embody the company's culture, values, and management philosophy.
  • Ensure quality service by enforcing standards; analyze and resolve service issues; identify trends and recommend enhancements.
  • Supervise Custodial Supervisors.
  • Job responsibilities may be adjusted as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar supervisory role is required.
  • At least five (5) years of supervisory experience in a service-oriented field with significant customer/client interaction.
  • Strong commitment to service quality.
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Capability to perform under pressure and meet set goals and objectives.
  • Excellent public speaking abilities.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines; self-motivated.
  • Exceptional communication, basic financial understanding, interpersonal, and technical skills are essential.
