Role Summary
The Traveling Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering support, guidance, and oversight from both a wellness and administrative standpoint at various communities. This position ensures the maintenance of operational standards until a suitable replacement is appointed. Additionally, the specialist will conduct audits and monitor systems to verify compliance with established standards.
Qualifications
- Degree in healthcare or a related discipline.
- Willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time.
- Experience in Senior Living or Independent Living environments.
- A minimum of three years of managerial experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of mastering company-specific software.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the community Wellness Director or Administrator during staffing gaps
- Conduct assessments and develop service plans for residents.
- Oversee resident care to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Process physician orders in collaboration with pharmacy support.
- Ensure the execution of resident ADL schedules during vacancies.
- Work with Human Resources to address employee performance issues.
- Facilitate training and development for care team members.
- Coordinate with the home office to ensure seamless transitions for community team members.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and effective communication.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Assist wellness leaders with ongoing training initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as required within the scope of the role.
