Role Summary

The Traveling Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering support, guidance, and oversight from both a wellness and administrative standpoint at various communities. This position ensures the maintenance of operational standards until a suitable replacement is appointed. Additionally, the specialist will conduct audits and monitor systems to verify compliance with established standards.

Qualifications

  • Degree in healthcare or a related discipline.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time.
  • Experience in Senior Living or Independent Living environments.
  • A minimum of three years of managerial experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of mastering company-specific software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the community Wellness Director or Administrator during staffing gaps
    • Conduct assessments and develop service plans for residents.
    • Oversee resident care to ensure adherence to quality standards.
    • Process physician orders in collaboration with pharmacy support.
    • Ensure the execution of resident ADL schedules during vacancies.
    • Work with Human Resources to address employee performance issues.
    • Facilitate training and development for care team members.
  • Coordinate with the home office to ensure seamless transitions for community team members.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Assist wellness leaders with ongoing training initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as required within the scope of the role.
