Receptionist/Patient Relations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Receptionist/Patient Relations Float to join our team at Regional Health Care Affiliates, Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Greet patients and families in a warm and welcoming manner, ensuring a positive first impression of our healthcare organization.
- Verify patient information, collect necessary documents, and update records accurately and efficiently.
- Manage patient flow, ensuring timely and effective registration, check-in, and check-out processes.
- Collect and process payments, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, staff, and patients to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Stay up-to-date with changing policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance and maintaining high standards of care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CMA certification preferred.
- One year of related work experience in a healthcare setting, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and eClinical Works, with ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on patient satisfaction and experience.
This role requires the ability to work in a normal office environment, with occasional evening or weekend work. Periodic local, state, and national travel may be required. Physical demands include lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, carrying, sitting, vision corrected in normal range, and hearing corrected in normal range.
