About the Role:

As a key member of the Boston Scientific team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our global business transformation program, Magellan. This program aims to simplify, standardize, and modernize our core business processes, enabling us to better leverage the power of data and position our business for profitable and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Governance: Share responsibility for effective governance across the program, including owning the Steering Committee agenda and material preparation, functional reporting and risk management activities through RAID, coordinating Process Governance board to manage process changes and roll out across the program, and representing team performance in Execution and Deployment Governance meetings.
  • Schedule Creation and Management: Create and manage schedules, including resource capacity planning within assigned teams.
  • Value Realization: Identify transformational opportunities to be delivered by the program for tracking via BSC VIP.
  • Program and Team Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and define appropriate actions to mitigate, escalating to program leadership where appropriate.
  • Program / Team Metrics: Support program oversight of individual team performance and drive a culture of accountability across the program.
  • Leadership: Lead US-based P5-level project managers to execute Delivery Excellence deliverables, including HR management for the team.
  • Special Projects: Lead surge projects in key areas of risk or performance issues, drive process improvements as an outcome of lessons learned, and other key project management needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Science, or an applicable field required; Advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of technical professional or operational experience in the medical device field required.
  • 5+ years of PMO experience.
  • Previous leadership experience across a business network or the management of large change programs, ideally in a technology or systems environment.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and the broader Application Ecosystem, combined with knowledge of key business processes.
  • Develops and executes organizational and operational policies that affect one or more groups by utilizing technical/professional knowledge and skills.
