The Mobile Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of our App Push and In-App Messaging initiatives. This position involves managing the platform roadmap, overseeing messaging calendars, and executing messaging requests from various marketing strategy stakeholders.

This role is integral to the Digital Performance Marketing team and may also engage in additional digital marketing projects as required.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement, optimize, and oversee Mobile Push and In-App Messaging, establishing targets and ensuring the channel meets performance goals.
  • Develop both long-term and short-term strategic roadmaps for Mobile Push and In-App Messaging in collaboration with executive leadership and key marketing and business stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including vendors and offshore resources, in executing channel activities.
  • Manage a monthly request process for marketing messages, create a calendar, and ensure visibility of final approved messages and their timing.
  • Develop business cases for automation, personalization, and optimization of messaging within Mobile Push and In-App Messaging environments.
  • Advocate for the consumer to maintain an optimal balance of notifications, messaging, and overall satisfaction with the BJ's app and mobile experience.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, procedures, and educational materials related to Mobile Push and In-App Messaging, ensuring stakeholder awareness.
  • Collaborate with Digital Analytics teams to provide regular reporting and insights on the performance of individual efforts and the channel overall.
  • Create and deliver impactful, data-driven presentations to senior leadership that distill performance results and opportunities into clear, actionable insights.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on mobile push and messaging, staying informed about industry trends and developments.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing direct consumer messaging within a marketing, media, creative, CRM, or mobile marketing context. Proven expertise in mobile marketing and measurement technologies. Detail-oriented with strong project management skills and follow-through. Ability to collaborate effectively with technical product leads, marketing stakeholders, and executive leadership.

Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex analytical, digital marketing, CRM, and technical concepts in an accessible manner.

Strong data analysis skills using spreadsheets or database technology.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with enterprise-level analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
  • Familiarity with Mobile Push platforms such as Airship or similar tools.

In accordance with Pay Transparency requirements, the compensation range for this position is starting from $109,000.00, with actual salaries varying based on factors such as location, education, experience, and qualifications.
